The Christmas Exhibition at the R.W. Norton Art Museum in Shreveport, Louisiana, is on display through January 3.

An exhibition of religious artworks and manuscripts from the medieval period through the 19th century. The selected artists include such Norton stalwarts as Thomas Sully and Charles Marion Russell, but also on display will be more rarely seen works by famous names like Rembrandt, Michelangelo, Fragonard, and Canaletto. And, at the heart of the exhibition, on display for the first time, we are pleased to present the Nortons 14th century illuminated manuscript, a beautiful book of hours with a 700-year history.
